Lucky is a very special dog here at CNHS. She is one of our longest standing residents. She is the product of bad breeding, and suffers neurological damage as a result. She has a condition called mega esophagus that causes her to need her food and water dish elevated.

She can easily aspirate and choke if she isn’t fed properly. Her damage also affects her motor skills. She loves to dance and prance, often losing her balance in the process.

Damage to her lungs makes her susceptible to contracting pneumonia, keeping her inside the house during cold and damp weather helps keep her healthy.

Lucky is happy here at the shelter. We love her so very much. She needs a special home to show her the love and care she needs as a special needs dog.

Her adoption fee is sponsored by the PetFinder Foundation.
