Wednesday Group will be hosting a softball game at Ryder Park. BBQ and activities to raise money to sponsor a Dog Kennel at CNHS. The sponsorships provides safe shelter, good food and the opportunity to find a forever home.

Bark Avenue will be featuring new items at a State Fair booth.

Rescues to Runaways

Saturday, Sept 11
"Rescues to Runaways" at the Conestoga Mall, 1:30 Fashion show featuring the latest trends from Maurice's. Angus will be attending with his Adopt-A-Pet friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. there will a silent auction items. Donations from our wish list will be accepted all month at Grand Island store.

We Need Your Help
There are many things you can do to help the animals (and our staff!). To Volunteer at the Central Nebraska Humane Society, you must be 16 years of age.

Volunteer Activities:

exercising dogs
cats massage therapy
fostering animals that need special care until they are adopted
helping with Adopt-A-Pet functions
other public relations activities that we take animals too
transferring animals to other shelters

....and the list goes on!
